Used 2016 Porsche Macan for Sale nearYork, ON

How much does the 2016 Porsche Macan cost?

Prices have softened 21.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 117 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Porsche Macan a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Porsche Macan earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out because it blends Porsche-style performance with compact SUV practicality, while still feeling more focused on driving enjoyment than most rivals. You also get a premium compact SUV with a high-quality interior and generous standard equipment, including electric front seat adjustment, electric folding door mirrors, and a power tailgate. If you want a five-seater that feels fast and engaging rather than merely comfortable, this model year fits that brief well. 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Porsche Macan reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes a good reliability record, which is encouraging if you want a used premium SUV that has already established its reputation. For a used buyer, the main long-term ownership risk is that sporty, higher-powered versions can be more demanding to live with, especially if you prioritise lower running costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Porsche Macan?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 117 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.69% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,848 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $21,777 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,807 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Macan more attractive to buyers now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the right price, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who purchased when values were higher. The model's premium badge and driver-focused appeal should still help it hold interest among shoppers looking for a compact luxury SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the earlier Macan formula with strong performance, a premium interior, and a more driver-focused personality, the 2016 is the right place to start. If your priority is stretching your budget further, you can also compare nearby years for pricing differences, but the 2016 remains a compelling choice when you find a well-priced example.
