The owner feedback also describes it as reliable, dependable, and a vehicle you can count on over the long term. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable if you inspect the vehicle carefully and budget for possible suspension-related repairs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 72 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.50% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,592 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $26,987 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,863 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests future sellers may need to stay competitive if they want to move the vehicle quickly. The current market also shows a defined year-round range, which can help you judge whether a trade-in or private-sale price is realistic. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, but resale value will still depend on condition, mileage, and maintenance history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2016 is a sensible place to start. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2016’s stronger satisfaction signal.
