If the market remains steady, the current average suggests there is still healthy demand for this model year. Well-kept examples should be easier to move than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a sensible choice if you want a used GLA with solid owner satisfaction and a softer price trend than last year. If you are shopping mainly on value, this model year deserves a close look; if you want to compare pricing against nearby years, the 2015 and 2017 can help you judge whether the current asking prices are especially attractive.
