Should I buy a 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2016 if you want the strongest mix of value and availability in this generation, especially if you can verify maintenance history and inspect the vehicle carefully. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby year with similar equipment may still work, but the 2016 is the better starting point when you want a balance of market value and owner satisfaction.
