Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 INFINITI Q50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 41 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.54% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,384 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $13,384 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,231 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more attractive to you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it also means there may be less room for appreciation unless demand strengthens. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the better pick if you want a used Q50 with strong owner approval and a softer price environment. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby years for the best listing condition and deal quality, but the 2016 already offers a compelling balance of value and satisfaction.
