Used 2016 Ford Focus for Sale nearGloucester, ON

How much does the 2016 Ford Focus cost?

Prices have softened 21.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 114 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Ford Focus a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Ford Focus earns a 4.62/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its smooth ride, great fuel economy, sporty handling, and modern features. The market also shows 23.7% of listings as good or great deals, which adds to the appeal if you are shopping carefully.

Is the 2016 Ford Focus reliable?

Owners rate it 4.62/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also describes it as reliable and something many drivers feel good about keeping for the long term. That said, some shoppers should pay close attention to how the engine responds and how the gearshift feels during a test drive, since those are the main ownership concerns raised by reviewers.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is ending up with a car that has been driven hard or not maintained consistently, so a thorough inspection and service-history review matter.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Ford Focus?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop around without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 23.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 114 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $8,257 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Ford Focus's resale value?

The current average of $8,267 CAD sits slightly below last year's $10,507 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more attractive to you as a buyer but less favourable if you are planning to sell soon. If prices stay near the current level, future resale value may remain under pressure unless demand strengthens. Even so, the model’s strong owner satisfaction can help support buyer interest over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.62/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Ford Focus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 23.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.62/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2016 Ford Focus makes sense if you want a used compact car with strong owner satisfaction and a market that currently favours careful shoppers. If your priority is getting the best value, this year deserves a close look; if you are highly price-sensitive, compare it against nearby model years and focus on the lowest-priced listings with clean histories.
