How much does the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan cost?

Is the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan a good car?

Yes — the 4.64/5 user rating suggests you’re looking at a model that resonates strongly with owners. The review summary points to three recurring strengths: spaciousness, reliability, and comfort, especially for families. It also highlights practical features like Stow ’n Go seating, which fits the Grand Caravan’s role as a straightforward, family-friendly people mover. With its focus on easy access, useful packaging, and everyday versatility, it makes the most sense if you want a minivan that prioritises function over flash. There are 29.3% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.64/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary also points to reliability and a trouble-free ownership experience as part of what many drivers appreciate, alongside the van’s practical design and family usefulness. That said, some owners mention past powertrain concerns, so you should pay close attention to service history and how the vehicle has aged.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that age-related mechanical issues can outweigh the Grand Caravan’s everyday strengths if maintenance has been inconsistent.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 546 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.77% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,880 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $10,897 CAD sits slightly below last year's $12,638 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the van easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, that means your best outcome will likely depend on condition, mileage, and maintenance records rather than broad market momentum. If you keep the vehicle well maintained, you may be able to offset some of the model’s age-related depreciation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.64/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.64/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a sensible choice if you want a practical, family-focused minivan and you value current pricing that has already come down. If you’re price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a similar Grand Caravan offers a better deal, but the 2016 stands out as a balanced option when you want a mix of owner satisfaction, usable inventory, and softened pricing.
