Should I buy a 2016 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 20.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 Acura RDX is the better pick if you want the added driver-assist technology and a comfortable, practical luxury crossover at a softer price point. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year with a lower average price may be worth a look, but the 2016 stands out as the more complete choice for shoppers who value usability and equipment.
