How much does the 2015 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have softened 8.10% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 207 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — 5/5 from users, with an expert rating of 6.17/10. The 2015 Toyota Corolla is framed as sensible, reliable transportation with a stronger style effort than many compact cars, and it also offers some driving pleasure rather than being purely utilitarian. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10. In practical terms, it suits you if you want straightforward daily transportation, a polished look, and a car that is easy to live with rather than exciting. The market shows 26.6% of listings as good or great deals, which supports its value case.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Corolla is described as reliable, cheap to own, and likely to retain a big chunk of its original value over time. Its 1.8-litre engine is presented as refined and quiet, and the model is expected to be dependable as it ages. Toyota also positions it as a practical, affordable car with good fuel economy, which supports its everyday durability story. If you buy used, the main long-term ownership risk is that a well-used example may show the limits of its modest powertrain and basic equipment rather than major dependability concerns.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Corolla is offered in four trim levels: CE, LE, LE Eco and S. All versions include LED headlights, air conditioning, power windows, locks and mirrors, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and Bluetooth connectivity with a USB 2.0 port. The LE adds larger 16-inch wheels and heated front seats, while a power sunroof is optional. The S adds unique hubcaps, side mirrors with integrated turn signals, a rear spoiler, sportier front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, a Sport driving mode and revised dashboard trim.
• Powertrain: A 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine powers all versions through a front-wheel-drive drivetrain. In all but the LE Eco trim, it makes 132 horsepower. The CE and S can be had with a six-speed manual or a CVT, while the LE uses the CVT as standard. The LE Eco gets a retuned engine with 8 extra horsepower for a total of 140 and improved fuel economy.
• Safety package: Toyota does not offer blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active cruise control with forward-collision warning or automatic braking. A backup camera is available, but it is not standard.
• Infotainment: Bluetooth is standard on all models. Toyota’s Entune App Suite is available on higher grades, and the system uses a 6.1-inch touchscreen. It supports smartphone-based access to features such as Bing search, Pandora, iHeartRadio and Facebook, and it includes large menu buttons plus physical volume and tuning knobs.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada estimates the Corolla S test car at 8.3 L/100 km in the city and 6.2 L/100 km on the highway, with a mixed-driving average of 7.9 L/100 km. The LE Eco is tuned for better fuel economy than the other trims.

Which 2015 Toyota Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2015 Toyota Corolla is offered in 4 trim levels: CE, LE, LE Eco and S.

Here's the short version:

• CE: This is the most basic way into the Corolla, but it still includes the core convenience features you need. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost entry point and are comfortable with a simpler equipment list.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds heated front seats and larger 16-inch wheels while keeping the Corolla’s practical core intact. If you want the most balanced mix of comfort and value, start here.
• LE Eco: Choose this if fuel economy matters most and you want the extra efficiency focus along with the retuned 140-horsepower engine. It is the trim to consider if you prioritise efficiency over extra style or sportiness.
• S: This is the most distinctive trim, with sportier styling touches, paddle shifters, a Sport driving mode and a manual transmission option. It suits you if you want the Corolla with the most personality.

Toyota notes that a backup camera is not standard, so check carefully for that feature on any used example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 207 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.10% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $12,294 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $12,763 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,888 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Corolla has become more accessible for used buyers, which can make it easier for future sellers to attract interest if they price competitively. Because the model is positioned around reliability, practicality and low ownership costs, it should continue to appeal to shoppers looking for dependable transportation. The softer market also means sellers may need to be realistic on asking price to stand out. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Toyota Corolla safe?

The 2015 Corolla earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA and a Good rating in all IIHS assessments except the small overlap frontal-impact test, where it rated Marginal.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota does not include any of the newer active safety systems in this Corolla. There is no blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active cruise control with forward-collision warning or automatic braking. A backup camera is available, but it is not standard. The main caveat is the Marginal IIHS result in the small overlap frontal-impact test, which is a weakness you should keep in mind when shopping used examples.

Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It balances sensible transportation with a stronger style effort than many compact cars.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $11,983 CAD, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $12,763 CAD average.
• It focuses on efficient, dependable daily motoring with a strong long-haul reliability reputation.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,570 CAD, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $12,763 CAD average.
• It adds stronger value appeal with impressive fuel economy and a more feature-rich package.

The bottom line: The 2015 Corolla is the right pick if you want a sensible, reliable compact car with decent style and strong value. If your priority is saving money, the 2014 is the cheaper route; if you want a newer-feeling value play and can spend more, the 2016 is worth a look.
