• Inventory: There are 221 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.33% compared with last year.

That price movement suggests the model has become more affordable for buyers, which can make it a tougher sell for future owners if the market stays soft. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Ford Escape or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 16.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 is a sensible choice if you want a used Escape with a softer price point and enough inventory to compare options. If you’re more price-sensitive, it’s worth watching for listings at the lower end of the range, while shoppers who want to compare nearby years should focus on condition and deal quality rather than price alone.
