The car is great to drive. It has plenty of power and feels solid, maybe a little too rigid. It’s a pleasure to look at. The only thing it’s missing is a back up camera.

Great car! The SLK is not a gut-busting muscle car. It and its brother the SL are refined sports-cars for people of an age whose days of harsh rides, loud exhausts, marginal convenience features, and “burnouts” are behind them, but still young enough to disdain dowdy sedans or SUV’s. Pros are fit and finish, convenience features, and style. SLK’s are FUN to drive! The vario-roof is the industry standard for convertibles. Cons are the four-cylinder turbo, while better for gas mileage, just cannot compare to the V-6’s in the SLK. Also luggage space is and has always been restricted. So pack wisely! SL’s are overpriced, IMHO, but SLK’s offer a similar experience for about half the price of an SL.
