Used 2014 Hyundai Veloster for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2014 Hyundai Veloster cost?

Prices have softened 19.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 55 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2014 Hyundai Veloster a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner approval, and the 2014 Hyundai Veloster’s unusual three-door layout, generous cargo space, and sporty styling make it a distinctive choice if you want a practical hatchback with more personality than a typical compact car. Its standard equipment list also gives it broad everyday appeal, especially if you value features and usefulness in a small package. With 14.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Hyundai Veloster reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2014 Hyundai Veloster’s reliability picture is helped by its straightforward front-wheel-drive layout and compact-car mechanical setup, which can be reassuring for used buyers. Its main ownership risk is that the polarising three-door design and cramped back seat may limit how well it fits your needs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Hyundai Veloster?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 14.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 55 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.88% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $6,967 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Hyundai Veloster's resale value?

The current average of $6,967 CAD sits slightly below last year's $8,695 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, that means your best resale outcome will likely depend on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped. A lower entry price can help keep ownership costs manageable, but it also means you should be realistic about how much value it may retain.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Hyundai Veloster or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 14.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, personality, and available inventory, the 2014 is a sensible place to start. If you are especially price-sensitive, you should still compare nearby model years to see whether a better-equipped or similarly priced example gives you more value for your money.
