Used 2014 Hyundai Elantra for Sale nearVictoria, BC

How much does the 2014 Hyundai Elantra cost?

Prices have softened 12.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 164 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2014 Hyundai Elantra a good car?

Yes — the 4.83/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its dependability, comfort, and fuel efficiency, and many also like the value for money it offers. For you, that makes it a sensible choice if you want an affordable compact car that feels more complete than its price suggests, especially for commuting and everyday use. With 19.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2014 Hyundai Elantra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.83/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights dependability and trouble-free day-to-day use, which is encouraging if you want a car you can count on. That said, the broader reliability picture is mixed, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and how the car has aged over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that wear-related issues may show up in systems that have drawn complaints before.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Hyundai Elantra?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every good car to disappear immediately.

• Deal availability: 19.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 164 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.63% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $6,680 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Hyundai Elantra's resale value?

The current average of $7,091 CAD sits slightly below last year's $8,116 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing means you may need to be more competitive on condition, mileage, and maintenance records to stand out. Strong value positioning can still help, especially if the car has been well cared for and presents cleanly.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.83/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Hyundai Elantra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 19.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.83/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used compact car with strong owner satisfaction, good value, and a softer price environment, the 2014 is the primary year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a similar car is listed at a better condition-to-price balance, but the 2014 already gives you a compelling mix of affordability and buyer appeal.
