How much does the 2014 Hyundai Elantra cost?

There are 193 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you decide.

Is the 2014 Hyundai Elantra a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Hyundai Elantra earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its dependability, comfort, and fuel efficiency, and many also highlight its great value for money. For you, that means it can make sense if you want a practical compact car with a smooth ride, useful features, and everyday usability. With 12.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Hyundai Elantra reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to dependability and trouble-free day-to-day use, with many drivers saying they can count on it for comfort and fuel efficiency. That said, the broader model-year record is mixed, so used buyers should pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition before committing. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying one that has been poorly maintained or already showing wear in the areas owners have flagged.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Hyundai Elantra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 12.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 193 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.68% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $6,686 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Hyundai Elantra's resale value?

The current average of $7,177 CAD sits slightly below last year's $8,126 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current pricing trend means you should be realistic about depreciation and focus on buying well. A clean history, strong maintenance records, and desirable equipment can help support your eventual resale position.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Hyundai Elantra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 12.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2014 makes sense if you want a value-focused compact car with strong owner satisfaction and you can shop carefully for condition. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may also be worth comparing, but the 2014 is a sensible primary target when you find a well-kept example at the right price.
