Generally — the 4.44/5 user rating suggests you’re looking at a minivan that many owners have found worthwhile. The strongest recurring themes in owner feedback are value, spaciousness, and family-friendly versatility, especially thanks to Stow ’n Go seating and the model’s practical layout. If you want a used minivan that prioritises everyday usefulness, easy entry and exit, and flexible cargo space, this model year fits that brief well. Owner feedback points to a mix of strengths and concerns: many drivers describe it as dependable for family use and appreciate its long-term practicality, while others mention engine troubles, electrical problems, and maintenance costs. That means you can count on the Grand Caravan for usefulness, but used buyers should still be careful about service history and overall condition before committing to one.

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 228 listings available.

What is the 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $8,599 CAD sits slightly below last year's $9,769 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer now but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing means condition, mileage, and maintenance records will matter even more when it comes time to list. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.44/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 23.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.44/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2014 if you want a value-focused minivan with strong space and flexibility, especially if you can find one with a clean history and a price near the lower end of the range. If you’re especially price-sensitive, it also makes sense to compare nearby model years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
