We test drove the Chrysler / Dodge, Honda etc etc you name it we tried it but the Routan won hands down. The VW Routan is a fantastic car for my expanding family. The build quality is fantastic. VW made minor touches inside and out to make the German badge quality shine through. We have 2 babies and we found that the Routan is a perfect size for all their stuff, a double stroller, food etc etc. We drove from NY to Boston with 2 babies, 4 adults, tons of luggage, stroller etc and everyone still had loads of room. We have also taken out all the seats and used to pick up large items from DIY stores. The engine is smooth, quiet and very powerful. The brakes smooth and effortless. The Interior is stunning. I cant praise the Routan enough, VW you hit the nail on the head with this one !!
