The 2012 LR4 is a great car for someone who wants a good highway cruiser with amazing off-road capabilities. It has two major weaknesses: Timing Chain Tensioners can cause a catastrophic engine failure (try and find one with the 2013 upgraded tensioners) and a coolant crossover pipe that can fail and causes major damage if you dont stop immediately. As long as you care for it properly neither of these should be an issue. Everything esle about this vehicle is awesome.
