The Centennial Grand Sport is the best version of the C6 GS. The alcantara interior and the Carbon Flash Metallic really set it apart from the others. This was a great car. Needed a few upgrades imo to really bring the car to life but once you get a full exhaust and a tune, it really wakes these things up and makes them sound mean. Sadly, never got around to throwing a A&A kit on it before I sold. That would have been the perfect C6 "quick cruiser" imo. I've had a FBO base, cammed Z06, and this FBO GS. The GS was the best all around car of the three imo. Nothing beats the widebody. The Z06 was pretty wild but I really missed the removable top and didn't want to have to constantly worry about valve drop. The LS3 is a better engine for boost anyway which was my goal.

I dreamed about having a Corvette my whole life. I came from somewhat meager beginnings and it finally happened a few years ago. It was like dream. I almost cried upon delivery. It a gorgeous car that many would envy. It's mostly not disappointed me. The car handles like nothing I've ever driven personally. I'm a car guy, but not a mechanic and not a race car driver. I like to drive. The acceleration will pin you back in the seat and give your passenger a reason to check his drawers. The gas mileage is great on the highway, like seriously 27. Around town, I can't seem to get more than about 15. I guess i like to punch it a little. What can I say? I have had ZERO maintenance costs on it. The oil changes are "covered" by the dealer for the first few years. Since I've only driven it a few thousand miles, I'm not sure that's any feat. It turns a lot of heads and I get lots of compliments on it. It's the crystal red with a cashmere (camel) interior. It's stunning. Looks wise, I love this car. The seats are the worst thing about the car. I'm a tall guy, not a giant, but over 6'2" and around 200#s. I fit behind the wheel with no problem and room to spare (which is rare). However, I like the seat low and it bottoms out on the motor underneath. ANNOYING. It's not very comfortable on long or short trips. Sometimes I suffer through it and other times, I don't feel like it. The other thing I don't like about the car is that it seems like the car of an older man. I guess we all dream of these things but really can't afford them until the later years, once established. Is that wrong of me to say? It's just my observation.

I like the performance side, the features (3LT package) are great but the weakness is the radio.
