Used 2010 Volkswagen Routan for Sale near Toronto, ON

Good looking, 4.0L engine is pretty peppy, handles well. Very nice interior--personally I like it the best of all minivans. Easy to get poor mileage if you have a heavy foot on the accelerator, but otherwise you can get the same as rated--17 city / 25 highway. Very comfortable seats, high quality of interior trim. Get over your emotional reaction to the "Chrysler" frame and drive train, go with the 4.0L engine, and you have one heck of a nice van. No, it's not the concept microbus come to life--but that's no reason to dis this VW. ====================== 3 Years later... VW purchased my 2010 Routan under the Washington State lemon law because of a recurring safety defect--the brakes. Had four (4) brake jobs in the first 30,000 miles. Liked the van very much, but those brakes were poorly engineered.

Surprising power & acceleration for a family car let alone a mini van! The VW upgrades are very nicely designed but the Chrysler build quality is evident. The exterior styling is great, interior comfort too. But the stitching on seats is unraveiing and the electrical system is buggy

Great car. Powerful engine, decent fuel consumption, interior is superior to many new minivans and SUVs. Handling is great for a car of its size and weight. I’d definitely recommend the Routan as a good used buy.

I like the styling & ride of this vehicle. It is enjoyable to drive & my wife even feels comfortable tooling around in a van especially with the rear view camera which eliminates much of the fear when backing up in something this big.
