I was deciding between a 987.2 (2009-2012) and a 981 (2013-2016) Boxster. The 981 is newer and a bit bigger, has more bells and whistles but is on average $12000-$15000 more. The 987.2 is a bit smaller but more nimble. The price is right, representing great value for the money. I finally decided on a 987.2 2010 Boxster S. Loving it!

I know every car has its problems, and I was looking to get away from the M96 gen engine. This car is the S trim level which is what I was looking for. This car is a theft recovery and suffered a fender bender, but it is in my price range so I bought it. They did a good job repairing it and the dealer was honest and open, also helpful.

I love the styling and ride. The looks are amazing with the top down! The ride holds curves at amazing speeds. The 7 speed shifter PDK is a breeze to use although the gas mileage is better in auto.j Fun to drive...you WILL be noticed!
