2007 Boxster S comes with 3.4L flat six and cranks out 298 hp. It can do 0 - 60 in about 5 secs. Engine is powerful and flexible and it sounds glorious, yet it is not too loud which can be tiresome after a while. Gearbox and clutch is excellent. Clutch feel is very good and light. Gearbox is smooth and clearly defined. If you miss a gear shift, it is your fault. Steering and brakes are pure Porshe. It's just about as good as it gets. Handling is very well balanced due to its mid-engine configuration with 50/50 weight distribution. Boxster will blow away 911 if Porsche gave it the same power. But they are not going to jeopardize highly profitable 911 line by letting its little brother outrun it. Boxster S is one of the best sports cars in the world.

Performance - 3.4L 295bhp is gives you enough thrust in most town and highway driving situations in Japan. Build Quality - Beautiful leather trim. The car feels firm- caged and rattle-free despite a convertible body. Appearance - Like the front. Not much at the rear. Cost of Ownership - Nothing failed in 30,000km. Logs 10km/L on highways. 6km/L on city driving. Fun Factor - Get the roof down and even a quick ride to the Seven-Eleven around the corner gives you a smile.
