The Malibu is comfortable, agile, and surprisingly powerful, but quiet at the same time. Shifts smoothly, no hesitation or bucking like you find with some 4 cyls. This is a solid handling car, its size belies the solid feel. And the fuel economy is awesome! I get 23- 25 mpg around town, and have gotten as much as 34-35 mpg highway.
