The Mk V was my favorite GTI in 2012. Bought a 2009 with low mileage and had stage 3 performance package done with a trusted mechanic. At $23k, it has been the greatest driving performance ever and I have been a GTI nut ever since.

Performance - for what the engine is and its economy the performance is excellent Build Quality - This is as good as it gets for a German car! Appearance - The car looks great in Black, just hard to keep clean Cost of ownership - Excellent gas mileage, maintenance is a little costly but distance from service to service is great (15 000km) Fun Factor - Car is great, makes a nice exhaust note and fun to play around with but then can also be driven well.

- Acceleration is very good in the first 3 gears - Braking is solid - Handles like a Porsche Cayman - Build quality is great - very well put together. - Exterior appearance isn't perfect but its sporty. Interior is gorgeous. - Cost of ownership - not much at all. - Extremely fun to drive.

Acceleration and brakes are quite perfect, if you once drive it on sport mode you will never drive it normally you need to spend on it if you drive it violently it looks nice with german best interior quality its cost is affordable compared to other german cars, it dose not consume too much gas. fun to drive
