We rented a Sonata for vacation and drove it almost 3,000 miles. This was our first experience with a Hyundai and we were very pleased. It was solid, quiet and the gas mileage we got on the V6 was a great surprise. The trunk was huge and we had plenty of room for those vacation purchases. Handling was a bit jittery on rough roads but never a problem. Performance was overall good but throttle tip-in was a bit abrupt. Build quality was excellent with tight seams and no squeaks or rattles. The audio system was one of the better ones we've heard in a car in this price range and we also enjoyed the XM radio (thanks, Budget!). This car goes to the top of the list when we get ready to buy!

I actually like this car! it has a comfortable interior, drives nice, actually a pretty fun drive. I would almost consider it buyable :) the exterior leaves a bit to be desired, its kinda plain no real curves or distinction, so thats not thrilling. But in the end im still a truck kinda guy...
