It is a great car. It may not be the best looking car, but it is reliable. I have had one maintenance problem, but my Subaru is a repaired salvaged title. It is pretty noisy in the back/cargo area. It has AWD so handling is great, and has performed fairly well off road and in weather. It has decent acceleration and braking. It has gotten pretty good gas milage, better on the highway. Mine is standard transmission, so very fun to shift and accelerate.

After 3 months and 6 050 kilometers I must say I am impressed with this vehicle. I have never driven an AWD vehicle before and I must say is makes a difference in handling, acceleration, braking....cant wait for the next snow storm. Driving comfort is great, basic radio system is acceptable, instrument panel is nicely layed out. Only negative aspect that bothers me is the fuel consumption.......but the Forester is not a Yaris so I shouldnt complain.

2008 Subaru Forester 2.0 X - 5MT dual range (Latin american market). Gets delivered next saturday!!! Can't wait! Trading in my 2001 Forester, did its job great, no whining - ever! Daily commute, week-end junior soccer and BMX, summer road trips, groceries run, you name it. Incredible versatility!
