Fun to drive, Quiet, wish it was rear wheel drive

Just got my 08 Impala SS, and I'm loving it. The performance is excellent, the 5.3 V8 really moves this family sedan. I would have preferred a rear wheel drive V8, the front wheel drive takes some getting used to when you put the pedal down, but very fun 2 drive.

The amount of throttle response to handling response it amazing. I have two children that fit comfortably in spacious rear seats. The comfort of overall ride for a car with its build is better than avaerage. I switched from a 2005 Monte Carlo SS 3.8L to this 2008 impala ss 5.3L WOW is it twice the car all the way around. The only thing that i disliked about the impala ss is the grille in front w/plates covering. I pulled my plates off and inserted a billet stainless grilee. I sell aftermarket items for all veh. I was impressed with the amount of options availible for the car, Between Style, and Performance!!!!

Good acceleration for a sedan. Nice rims, leather, and sound. Bad torque steer. Heated seats come in handy in winter. Remote start is nice in both summer and winter and automatically turns on defroster or air conditioning. Overall, I love it!

recent problem surfaced. service traction control, service stabilitrac, harder shift first and second gear. Dealer dumbfounded. Recently took to dealer as it was happening, scanned for codes and found some. Car is fun to drive. Nice power and handling plus lots of space to satifsy the middle aged family hauler.
