(9 reviews)The Forenza is a basic compact car. Great for getting around town and decent handling. It makes a good car for a single person needing a dependable car. Interior is roomy and has good truck space. Mechanically is reliable and dependable.
I love my car. I have had a couple of repairs that I had to do. My radio had to be replaced and I have had a couple of flats. Overall this car has been a good car. I bough it used. It performs well. It is not a sports car but I didn't want one. It was relatively cheap which is why I bought it. I have not had any major problems.
Suzuku Forenza is a great city car. It s almost compact sized, therefore gas consumption is low. easy to maintain, easy access to dealers and aftermarket parts. the bottom line is, it is a Japanese car. i have many friends who own forenzas, and they all love their cars.
Bought a used 2007 Suzuki Forenza for $2,500 with 60,000 miles on it at a used car dealership. Drove great, just tire bearing needed to be fixed. 3 weeks later it made engine clanking sounds while driving, started to pull over. It wouldnt accelerate. Started it up hours later, had the same sounds while parked, got 800 feet from the location it was parked and the engine died. Tried to jump it, wouldnt start. Tried replacing the timing belt, valves, still wouldnt start. Checked the battery, batteries fine. So we replaced the whole motor. Took the old motor out put the new motor in. ($1000 for new motor, $500 for mechanical labor). The car wouldnt start with the new motor so now after driving the car for 3 weeks and without it for 3-4 weeks. Spending $2500 on the car and $1500 for new motor and labor. Now having to pay another $500 for labor to switch out another motor. Who even knows that this next motor will work. Ill be spending in total of $4500 I couldve gotten a better car for that price and it last for years. Suzukis suck and also this used car lot. This was my first one after having a honda civic 01 and a chevy cobalt 05 both great cars, no problems ever. Until I bought a newer year, a 2007. Trust the older cars. Their cheaper to fix if it has any problems. And get the american brands
It has enough power to get it to go but not too much more. The actual drive is nice and the warranty kicks total butt. So far I have had to use it for the center console, the mirrors, the rear wiper, and probably the valve cover gasket . So, at least it looks nice. Gets good gas milage, drives okay, smooth. Neat features inside.
