2007 Nissan Altima test drive
overall
Some acts are impossible to follow, and so the redesigned Nissan Altima arrives for the 2007 model year with a bit of a thud, lacking the visionary design and thrilling performance of the outgoing version of the automaker’s midsize sedan.
Aiming to once again capture lightning in a bottle, the all-new 2007 Nissan Altima supplies added refinement, improved efficiency, and upgraded safety to new-car buyers looking for a little extra zing during the daily drive. But the new Altima isn’t nearly as groundbreaking as the one that came before it, and in some respects, it takes a few steps backward.

let me tell you about this one. Great performance. Acceleration almost feels beastly... sometimes, like it's too much for the car - which is also a problem, if you look it at. Great accessories. Built nice. Beautiful interior and exterior - feels a bit more classier than a Nissan used to be. Gas mileage is.... decent. Car is a little heavy, but the handling's not so bad. Great to drive. Loved every minute of driving this car.

I like my nissan because it has been a very reliable car and has been very cheap to maintain. Compared to Honda and Toyota's I paid alot less for my nissan when I bought it and was very happy with the low cost of insurance and maintenance it has had. i would recommed anyone who is looking to buy a honda or a toyota to also look at nissan's. They have great cars that have much more reasonable prices.

Horrible experience with my 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5S It is currently on its 3rd transmission, 2nd set of airbags and 2nd brake system. The car has horrible road noise along with a whining from the engine that the dealer "can't hear". DO NOT BUY A NISSAN ALTIMA.
