A beautiful car to drive, the manual transmission is smooth and effortless. Very quite interior during normal driving. The steering is a little loose during hard braking and in sharp turns. Overall I would recommend the Elantra to anyone looking for value for their dollar. The only concern is the long term durability of the vehicle. I guess I will find out in a few years.

I was actually delightfully surprised by the performance and handling of this vehicle. The exterior and interior were sharp, the ride was nice.

This car is great as my first car. I love it a lot and it has a lot of potential. Great in accidents too!

Lots of features including a few that the Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic don't offer. More features are standard on the Elantra SE than Corolla or Civic. Plus, the Elantra SE costs less than a less-equipped Corolla LE or Civic. Take a look at the Pros and Cons for more detail.

I like that it is an unusual car to try to fix up and make it look and perform good. Because of that everything i do to it makes it unique and special because its not like you can just go out and buy the parts. It is all custom done.
