- 197 hp K20A, acceleration is good, the high reving V-TEC is very smooth, brakes are fair, but will fade if over used. Handling is very good. -Build Quailty is very good, other than annual oil changes, brake, and tires, it is a very low maintenance car -Very sharp looking car, nicest of all the civics in my mind. -Cost of ownership, the only draw back in the SI models is you must use premium witch tends to cost more -The car is very fun to drive. It's a real head turner

I've owned 2 other Civics and this one can drive circles around them. I love almost everything about it. The only thing that I would change are the seats since they're kinda uncomfortable, especially on long drives.

This is a fun and economical sporty coupe. The car is quite stylish and gets a lot of looks. The performance is definitely above average on all fronts. The car has great top end acceleration above 5800 rpm and handles like a dream. Seeing that it is a high revving inline 4 engine, torque is definitely lacking down low. Don't expect to go anywhere fast until the engine really gets singing. The interior build quality is not the best, with rattles emanating from most panels at one point or another, due to the fluctuation in temperature. The layout of the controls and gauges is spot on. This car does not sip gas like the new 1.8L civics, however it does not guzzle gas by any means either. Expect 500-550kms for a tank of gas (~45L) with light driving. Bottom line, this is still an economy car and has many cost cutting measures in place, however it performs quite well with all the added upgrades and should be near the top of your wish list if you're an enthusiast on a budget.

Best performer under 20 grand. I was dissapointed in the cars performance in stock form, but after a few bolts-ons it really woke the car up. I love the overall appearance of my vehicle in stock form and how it sits now (pictures above). It corners like its on rails. The interior is nice and clean. Black Recaro Racing seats with red stiching come standard. The 2 Teir RPM and speed cluster takes some getting used to but is very futuristic and different. Overall I believe the car to be a top competitor in its class. Also I must mention I came from a 99 z28, so this is a totally different ballgame. Although it doesnt have the torque, it screams up to that 9,000rpm redline and with the current mods has put a few v8s to shame, and also been stomped by some. Im not going to lie and say its the fastest car ever, but its fun and we are all car enthusiast and thats what matters. PS: Turbo is sitting in the garage, I will update with pics after the install in the coming weeks =) Hoping for 300whp/220wtq @ 9psi!!!
