The 3.5 L engine with the 6 speed transmission provides the perfect combination of power and fuel economy. The appearance grows on you once you feel the ride and handling and the interior is the most comfortable vehicle I have owned. The Flex handles cargo or family very well. It is fun to drive and very safe feeling at the same time.

Freestar replaced the Windstar which i say Ford made a mistake .The windstar had a 3.8L engine which the Freestar now has a 4.2L but i have too say is also good on gas .No major repairs at all as yet , but will need new tires soon .

I love the handling of my minivan and haven't had any problems, but I would have liked to get better mileage, I get 19.2 miles to the gallon which isn't very good. One thing I love that I didn't think I'd ever use are the heated seats, on cold days they're wonderful. I would definitely recommend my van to a friend.
