This car is.... amazing!! Best bang for the buck at the time. 2.0L I-4, Eaton Roots-type supercharger. Quaife LSD, fwd. About 2990 lbs., this thing can move. So far I have only done an Injen CAI and GMP cat0back. This car handles like a dream, very stable and smooth. I can get about 30 mpg city (if my foot is a feather).

Awesome body design. Sweet spoiler. the interior is comfortable. plus the interior looks great too with red and black leather seats. the satellite radio is AWSOME! Performance wise, this car well definitely put you back in the seat with great acceleration thanks to the 12 psi output of the Eaton Supercharger. The car can reach a top speed of around 150mph in no time and with its all disc brakes can stop just about as quickly. The transmission shifts beautifully and the hydraulic clutch makes that 100 times better. For a car with such high performance and the honor of carrying the famous SS logo, the car is surprisingly inexpensive at only about $22,000

I think this is one of the best cars for the price. It has enough acceleration (0-60 6 secs) that is fun but you can't get in too much trouble with. Fun to throw into corners and with Blizzak snow tires does great in snow and ice. Gas mileage is 27 mpg with aggressive driving. I still look forward to even little trips to the store just to be able to get out and drivel.

No doubt the car is fast, even in stock form, and it loves to handle. Build Quality like any chevrolet of the era is questionable at best, but I go to Mcdermott Chevrolet for my service, so no issues. Love the shape of this car, only downside is black does not hold up well here in New England. Not the cheapest car out there, not super expensive either, about 21mpg which is nice, even with the supercharger, price point to buy it was a bit high at 25.5k Blast to drive, much more fun than some euro crap.
