Used Volkswagen Golf for Sale near Thunder Bay, ON

This has to be the best hatch back on the market. The build is solid, cheap to run, performance is not at all bad and the drive is comfy. Its stunning looking as standard but as you can see when you do a bit of moddin they can look fabulous.

Sadly, there was not enough boot space in the Golf for all the crap I need to cart around with two kids, so it was a sad goodbye to the Golf.

very good car im very happy with the build quility and it very cheap to run 550 miles to a tank. as its non turbo it is slow and you have to change up a lot to get anywhere

The 4th gen golf is safe and well made, stability control, ABS, and side airbags come as standard. It's got an antiquated 115bhp engine, but it'll happily rev up to 6500rpm through the gears. It goes from 0-60 in under 9 seconds, which is faster than a yaris. It's very heavy, so it feels much bigger than it actually is. Push it through the corners and it'll go on three wheels before it lets go. It's great fun to drive, and it's extremely refined for an economy car.

It's a golf so you can't complain about the way it looks, very inoffensive. I've actually have the 2.0 SDI but that wasn't in the trim list, it's only got the models that were released in the states. Performance is murder - 0-60 takes nearly 20 seconds but cruises happily at 80 on the motorway. Handling is really really good, especially for such a heavy car. Cost of running is excellent too, but I got a special deal ;) ;)
