Strong engine with a responsive transmission, love the LSD. Looks great. Comes with a very good warranty. The paint job isn't that great, but they've fixed that on newer models. Gets decent fuel mileage, runs better on premium, but fine on regular. Rear suspension squeaks if not maintained properly.

Again, one of my most favorite features in the Tacoma is it's 265 hp motor. The handling is also pretty nimble for a truck - and I own the Double-Cab Prerunner. The back seats are roomy, and can take a car seat in the middle and still seat two adults on either side comfortably. I've had two car seats in the back, but the middle seat gets a bit squishy.
