Good reliable car. 100k miles and still runs great. Leather seats, power everything, CD player, very comfortable. Good looking. Roomy, seats 5 easily, huge trunk. Anti-lock brakes and airbags. A little sluggish in accelerating. Not really 'sporty.' It's a family car. Gas mileage is average at best, 25 highway, 17 city.

Nice family car and comforting for use with young family members. I had good luck with my previously I owned a Ford Taurus (1997) and passed it on to my daughter in 2005 who drove it about 2 years, then to my niece for another 6 years . So basically I have been happy with both my 2005 Sable and 1997 Taurus (very similar cars).

In the year that I've had this car, I 've only had to maintain oil changes and tires. It wasn't my first choice because to me it looks like an "old persons" car, but once I drove it and noted the acceleration and easy handling and all the amenities (its fully loaded), I changed my mind and decided that I could drive this car for now. I wish it was a smaller car. It was stated as being a mid-size sedan in the same class as Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and Ford Fusion, but this car is sizeably larger than it's companions of the same year (2005). It feels and drives like a family car. I've driven Lincoln Town Cars and this ride and comfort reminds me of the Lincoln.
