Reviewed a 2003 Mazda ES V6 4WD on Oct 27, 2012
with automatic all-wheel drive, the only way to get stuck is to high-center (did in the sand at the beach, but a little digging and was free). Also with the anti-lock brakes, stopping is maxed out in efficiency. the only scary time was climbing a steep snowy hill, when all 4 wheels are spinning, it's up to chance.
