Great for fast turns and short races, if you have the 4.3. Can handle how ever much hell as you want to give it. Very tough transmission and motor.

My S-10 xtreme is the last of its kind. I got a yellow with black stripes 4.3L V-6 manual with all the factory options. Yellow wasn't my first choice but this was the only one I could find that came with the V-6 and the stick shift. Its a fun car that can be easily modified to make it unique. the V-6 is full of potential and i've seen people squeeze 500HP out of the engine. It hits the governor a little below 100mph which sucks since you don't even notice your going that fast and the tachometer is only readin around 3000rpm. The locking rear diff comes in handy for reasonable handling and good burn outs. The sport suspension option does work well enough if you want to leave the whole car stock but you do notice some roll when you hit the tighter turns.

My truck is the best, for a V6 it has the power that i need for that get up and good, without spending a fortune in gas. I find the S-10 and the GMC sonoma's to be good looking little trucks. They come in a varity of styles for everyone. Maintance is simple with these trucks, but at times can get expensive (depending ont he part). I have had tons on fun with these trucks, I find they are fun in and out of the mud. The only con I have for these trucks are the plastic parts that sometimes rattle and squeak at times, especially here in the north where we get some cold weather.

This was a great looking truck. After spending about $10,000 on extra parts it was a good looking fast moving low rider truck. It had the 4.3 v6 that was alright but really lacked power going from 40 to 60+. This truck was truly a one of a kind truck. I added a aftermarket radio system and performance chip. This truck gets between 20 and 24 mpg in the city and 28 to 31 on the highway when you drive it correctly.
