quick acceleration (its got a turbo) and quick braking. the handling is good but not super great. it doesn't need much repairs . it is cheap to own and it is fun to drive. it has great gas mileage. great interior and exterior.

It is a very useful care that has some style and the ability to haul my junk if I need it. I thandles pretty well and I really like the AWD for Iowa winters. Gas Mileage is not so good, but I can get around 22 on the road. Turbo is great when you need to pass and for a wagon, it is pretty sporty.

I love my Cross Country, it's fun to drive for a practical wagon and it's a billy goat in the show and rain, but maintenance is ridiculously expensive! Still, I'm rolling happily along at 130K and plan to drive it at least two more years!
