I have owned my 2001 Olds Aurora 4.0 for almost 8 years. I have been driving since 1960 and all that time I have driven more than 100 cars ranging from the 1941 to the 2008 model years. When all the factors that make a good car are considered, this Aurora is easily the best of that bunch. There simply is not enough room here for me to say how great this car is. And when I buy a new car again, what I buy will be determined by how much that car is like the 2001 Aurora 4.0.

Its a fine line between performance and luxary when it comes to Oldsmobiles, specifically the Aurora. Not only is it a full size, fully loaded, sedan but it also comes with some of the best handling for a car its size. Always a smooth comfortable ride. The design of the interrior of the car is very driver friendly. Olds didnt skip anything when making auroras, from the leather to the bose sound systems, from the heated seats to the rims, overall one of the best cars GM has ever made.

Love it. Performance: Goes as fast as you want without going over 2500 rpm Build Quality: No problems. A big bigger than I'm used to, but excellent handling Appearance: Leather, sunroof, and the works Cost of Ownership:gas is a pain in the ass. Fun Factor:hell yeah, it's fun.

awsome car, Really good driving in the winter with the abs braking system along with a stablizer, car is only good if you have the v8, perfect for beating people in a race. tinted window, leather, awsome sound system, 17inch rims, all around.. very fun car.

I love everything about this car except for the transmission speed sensor wiring. It's been a pretty reasonable car to maintain. Transmission was replaced at 121,000, but the engine continues purring along just about as a new one, just with a little less gas mileage than I'd prefer.
