My second AMG and 1st with a V8 engine... Sounds more like an old school american muscle car than a refined German hotrod! Pure sex.

I have loved my 430 coupe from the moment I laid eyes on it. It always put a smile on my face and was great to drive, especially on the open road. The masculine "bring it on buddy" styling for 2001 still looks great and I think, better than the current more subdued model. Despite some small nuisance repairs, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a solid, sporty car to drive in the city or on the highway. The only reason I don't have it today is because I got my hands on a CLK55 AMG!!!!!

Absolutely amazing car. I love every minute I drive it and find myself saying "I love my car" over and over. Having owned over 50 cars, I would say this is my favourite. The fit and finish is very good and above all the performance and sounds are intoxicating. Despite the power, the mileage is not bad as I am getting 25 mpg.
