Performance - 5 Liter V8, shall i say more? Build Quality - amazing. nothing breaks Appearance - kind of an older person car Cost of Ownership - ehh, its worth it Fun Factor - amazing.... its all around great car. but i wish it was a BMW this benz is for more of an older people, but what can i do. haha i am not complaining with a 100,000 dollar car

A little soft on the ride but this is a preference. Need to keep tire pressure and routine maintaince up as it can be expensive. Spares for Designo interiors could become hard to find. Model is rare so will possibly start to appreciate very soon

This car at 14 years and 78,000 mile is as smooth and powerful as the day it drove off the lot. If there is a problem with it on the highway - it's too smooth. If you are not careful you will be over the speed limit swarming you're not over 30mph!

Got it with 108k miles. Read reviews of 250k, 300k and even 480k miles. all said the 2000 S500 still going strong. It had a fair amount of rust along the bottom edges. Had to get it repaired and painted. Also had a battery drain problem. Turned out to be the driver door control module. $600 dealer repair. Needed valve cover gaskets, idler pulley, transmission mount/fluid change, cabin air and charcoal filters. Another $1,000. Nicely tinted by dealer. Replaced side mirror covers with the 2007 V-cut signal version. $130. Power everything. Interior in very nice shape.Booming stereo. Now it looks like a 2 year old car. This car originally sold for $80,000.

Great car. Performance is OK for a big car. Pretty good handling. New one coming soon. Before the end of the year.
