Incredibly solid car. The original clutch lasted for over 160,00 miles. Handles well, has a 2.0L 4 cyl. which is surprising quick (acceleration, speed, etc.). Has had very low maintenance costs and gets great fuel economy. Good looking car and (I own a sitck) fun to drive. Highly recommended. My mechanic has recommended it over many fancier european models.

Theres nothing i can say about this car that i hate, its really good overall, i bought it for room, as my children are in car seats, and they take up alot of room in the back, and with car seats in it gives plenty of leg room, the car is cheap on parts, cheap to run, and you get really good performance and mileage out of it the only reason im changing is coz i would likw something newer. performance - the car does everything i want, theres plenty of power when i need it, the braking is excellent, and the handling is great build quality - Ive a confession to make, ive had to do no repairs in over a year, tyres, exhaust are all A1 condition, its regularly serviced by the dealer, and they mention straight away if anything needs replacing and it hasnt, as i use this car with my family, i want everything perfect. Appearance - As the car is nearly 8 year old, it looks abit dated compared to todays cars, hence why im upgrading, the interior is great, all the gadgets are easily accessible, cost of ownership - CHEAP<CHEAP<CHEAP fun factor - the car is great fun, its not a sports car but, handling and performance is great, on long journeys i find the car comfortable and easy to control - i would definately reccomend this car to a friend

ford focus is a good cheep car. geeat gas milage

it was a 1999, there was no 99 in the options n it was a zetec not LX

i love this car, it has great gas milage and is reliable. But i would recommend a Zx3. The Z's have 20 more horses and can be customized easier
