Used 1999 Toyota RAV4 4 Door AWD for SaleNationwide

The acceleration isn't very much, the breaks work well but they squeak when wet. Overall though it is a good car for being 10 years old. Some people can't believe it works so well for being 10 years old. It has only been repaired once since I have had it and that was just to put new back breaks in. It is only like 20 dollars to fill it up and that lasts me about a week and a half.

2.0 ltr petrol engine is more than powerful enough for this vehicle. for it's size it's actually quite a light car and has very impressive off road capabilities considering it's not a thoroughbred 4x4.

Overall I enjoy the RAV4 and while she's not the prettiest girl at the prom with a little dressing up she just might turn a head or two. I've installed several mods that make her handle better, off-road worlds better, and look much better. Brakes are my only real complaint , the Japanese, Australian, and some European versions have disc brakes that weren't even an option here, WHY? I work outdoors all over the place often driving on "jeep" trails and cross country and so far she's done well. She's no jeep but she hasn't gotten stuck yet. Handles well in the rain, haven't tried it on snow or ice yet.

I love how it looks like an SUV but runs like a car, and is just as comfortable too. Going on long drives is no problem and it gets like 25MPG which is key when driving to far away places like Boston-Niagara Falls or Boston-Orlando, FL

I havent been able to drive it around on my own. but when i've had the chance to take it out for a spin its hasn't failed me yet. the sound system is great. the only thing i dislike is that the engine isn;t insulated. but overal i love it.
