The I6 paired with the automatic may not be brutally fast, yet in this car yields effortless acceleration. The chassis and suspension give the driver telepathic and effortless handling feel to the road. One may place the car on a dime on the road at 70. Without using the cruise control 100 MPH will be exceeded on interstates. Winding mountain roads are a delight, no body roll nor dive are evident. Just enough road feel in the wheel; all road harshness disappears in the suspension. The interior detailing touches and ergonomics are superb , along with frigid climate system, with the perfectly over-engineered body build quality. Paint is almost 3D. Far better factory sound than any Bose. Superior to any newer 5 series BMW overall minus rear the doors. Reliable as my old Corolla. Only complaint is the poor city MPG-usually 18, yet far better on the freeway.
