A Jaguar Vanden Plas is the top line for Jaguar cars. The wood grain interior is the highest quality and it shows in the front and back seats. This is a very clean and beautiful car. It drives and rides very smoothly. It is a safe strongly built car.

There’s nothing I don’t like about this car will buy another a few years newer to keep enjoying while cruising. this has just been the best car i have own so far and i will definitely recommended to anybody who enjoy driving while looking their very classy.

This car did everything but pour your coffee for you. Unfortunately I got this car after some idiot who didn't know how to take care of a German luxury car. You can't just put Wal-mart stuff into these things. Overall though this was a very good car. I would like to have another one someday, maybe an XF next time.

This car is way before it's time.The phone, stereo system, remotes all over for things that one wouldn't usually think of. It's as if a time traveler went back from the future and created this vehicle based on what was to come. This is what makes this car so unique. Although I prefer a sporty car over the large luxury classic style,( other car is Alfa Romero Quadrifoglio) I have to admit it's a fun drive. High maintenance costs. This is a great luxury car for an individual who wants comfort and a safe adventure car.Family car? I don't know if I would personally want dogs and ice cream all over my handstitched leather interior.

For me, the 1999 Jaguar Vanden Plas has long been the best looking car on the road, ever. And finally I came to be the owner of one. The handling, power, comfort, luxury, control features, and safety features, all combine to make this the best car I have ever driven. And the styling makes it the classic beauty of all time. This basic style has been the Jaguar look for decades, and the 1999 refinement of this look, is in my opinion the apex of this style. After 1999, the entire XJ series began to shrink, the classic exterior stainless steel and chrome trim diminished and interior burl walnut and luxury trim began to adopt a more economic appearance in response to the demand for a smaller, more fuel efficient and generally plebeian cars. Years ago, I watched as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles arrived at the National Cathedral, in Washington, D.C. For safety, the Royals always ride in separate cars, and not surprisingly the car reflects rank. The Prince rode in a Jaguar Vanden Plas much like my own, in the signature forrest green of British royal cars. The Queen rode in a majestic, well preserved Rolls-Royce, same color.
