The 1998 Toyota SUV Limited 4 Wheel drive is an excellent choice for those living in winter climates and need the extra insurance of never getting stuck. The 4 Runner has always been one the best choices for overall durability and I agree. 8.5 out of 10

It is a sure footed stable suv that feels great on as well as offroad. Even has locking rear differential which is only found elsewhere on the land cruiser. Plenty of power in town, good torque, hwy speed passing is another thing, it has grunt but not a lot of speed. After 281k miles and still going, I would have to say everything has held up beyond any person possible expectations, still looks, sounds, and drives great. It is a tank that just wont die. Some maintenance is expensive, timming belt job is over $1000, but only needed every 150k miles. Oh, and this is my second 4runner, I actually drove my other one into a lake, pulled it out, dried it out, and it still runs just like before.

This car eats up gas. Make sure to put 89 when pumping. Good suv for road trips and for families. Really good car to keep. Many compliments by others on the road. Excellent cargo space. This car is a keeper.

I love this vehicle, it has far less repairs that have to be made than my other cars.
