Used 1998 Ford Expedition 4 Dr XLT 4WD SUV for Sale Nationwide

Best vehicle I've ever owned. Outstanding reliabilty and performance. With today's higher gas prices it has become less economical to drive. It can handle all the needs of a family. Hauls the family, appliances, boats and pets effortlessly. Great vehicle for the money.

The only problems that really come up at all are the gas mileage (12-13) and for some reason most Expeditions have electrical issues with the drivers door. When you shut the door sometimes it doesn't register that it is shut, but other then that nothin. It pulls everything I need it to and you can hardly feel it. I love it.

This was probably one of the most costly vehicles for me to own. It spent allot of time in the shop being fixed. Transmission work 5 times, radiator, alternator, many sets of brakes, suspension problems every year, starter, had to replaced driver and passenger windows due to clips on glass falling off. I am not a anti-Ford guy but a anti-expedition that I owned guy. Ford is making some great vehicles - I have just found better service out of Toyota trucks lately and better prices. If when I need to replace my current Tundra - I will look again at Ford Trucks.

Typical Ford suspension... Hauls more than it's supposed to. Then the truck can me made family friendly, mildly 4wheeled in the hills and versatile in almost any situation. If you own one, or perhaps the pick-up version, all of your Toyota, Nissan owning friends will want to borrow it when somthing big has to be hauled

Had this old boy going on 9 years now and i have waited that long to write a review. You dont know a car from a month of driving it. That being said while it does drink a bit of gas this vehicle is wonderful. We have put 267,000 miles on our with no problems.
