Used 1998 Chevrolet S-10 LS Extended Cab 4WD Cars for Sale near Leduc, AB

This was a great truck. I got it in 2000 with 34000 miles on it. The only two things I had problems with is the seat reclining handles broke alot cause of being made with white metal. Had to replace the Valve body in the transmission at 40,000 miles other then that a great little truck.

I bought the truck with 31,000 miles on it and its ran great for 5,000 miles so far. The 4.3 will suprise you sometimes with its power and the 4 speed auto connected to it gets the job done, but doesnt have enough speeds to use the 4.3s power to full potential. Only problem has been axle shafts especially the rubber boots as they seem to get shredded with any kind of build up of snow and ice up underneath the truck.

Overall I expect this vehicle to have the comparable life of a disposable lighter. Treat it like it's the only vehicle you will ever own. Unfortunately I had to load it onto a roll back 1 week after I bought it, (dead-drained battery). I had a difficult time getting it up the incline. I also cant clear the check engine lights or the ABS system problem. I bought this one because the first one could be used for parts to fix.

it is a nice overall vehicle its not the fastest but its a very nice truck great mpg and also good off roading great every day driver its a really fun vehicle its a very responsive truck when you really get on it.

Mine is a 4.3L V6. It has 15 inch wheels, and the stock audio system. It is an extended cap, but it aint a family vehicle for sure! Its all pretty simple, i havn't invested that much into it, although if i were to do so, i would buy spray-in bed liner, and a better tool box. I did expect excellent gas mileage from this truck, but mine gets about 15 or 16 on average. It does remind remind me of a lower-riding car when i drive it, not a big Dually or something, and that is just a personal liking, hence the one-line summary.
