fun car to drive, luxury with some speed, loved it. fantastic engine weak transmission (or maybe I drove it too hard). One of the best engine notes I have ever heard. interior was a little lackluster, but had a good layout, and some neat electronic gadgets like memory power seats and puddle lamps and the first car with HID Xenon lights.

When I bought this Mark VIII it was a one owner car with only 50,000 miles. I love it. It has the 280 HP DOHC engine. It's the fastest car I've ever owned, with cornering like a true sports car. It has the original air suspension, in very good condition. No air leaks. The paint, wheels and leather interior are all original. It is gold in color. The car now has 66,000 miles on it. I'd like to increase the horsepower. Maybe with a cold intake air filter system, and true dual exhaust. I might be able to get it up to 300 HP. Should I try, with the car having 66,000 miles on it? Any other inexpensive ways to increase horsepower? I'd like to have somewhat louder exhaust without the drone inside the car. This car is a ball to drive, and gets 16.5 MPG. It looks great, and does not ever need repairs. When I need to pass another car, I just step on it, and it sounds like a jet engine. People in the other car can't believe I went past so fast. If you can find one, buy it. They go for about $6,000 in good condition. Mine cost about $44,000 when new.

Awesome ride. Great power. Fantastic handling for an american luxo-barge. Stunning gas mileage for a big heavy american car.

Beautiful look with ample power and luxury mix. Gets looks left and right, from the old and young alike! That is a keeper right there, maybe! I am the 2nd owner, loving it! z z z z z z z
