Performance- weak acceleration and top speed aren't really a letdown because its a four cylinder truck, what do you expect? Build Quality- excellent. I have never had it break down on me, nothing has broken yet, and its like 12 years old! Appearance- it's an old truck, it looks good for its time. Fun Factor- yeah this thing is fun to drive, especially having manual. Then again, I've only driven a few cars in my lifetime. so yeah.

Too pricey for that old of a truck to

The only this I dislike about my truck is slightly underpowered for the "open road" with it's 4 CyL. 2.4 liter. But off road this truck can make it just about anywhere and can keep up with a 4 CyL. Jeep with a locked front end. Acceleration overall would have to be the worst driving aspect. But a solid tranny and over-sized rear brakes make it awesome for towing smaller things. I run about 30 mpg with the hubs unlocked and in two wheel drive, and about 28 to 27 in 4 wheel drive during the winter. Parts are cheap and the hardest thing to get to is simply the oil filter.

LOVE my truck. Never have to worry about it, sporty enough to have fun but underpowered enough to keep me out of any real trouble. Actuaklly, a decent aftermarket scene thanks to the fact that the engine is the same from the early 240SX. 5 speed has never given me any problems but sometimes I do have trouble with the check engine light thanks to a loose wire in the air box.

You cant hurt it. So what if I take it through a field, what am I going to do hurt the paint? It gets great gas milage and has been dependable since day one. Yeah the window might come off the track and the passenger side door handle is a piece of webbing, but its paid for!
